Gerard’s Kids Magic show:

40-minute show
Ages 6 and up.

Even though the magic in this show is a bit more advanced and the presentation a bit different, the show is still based on the same success recipe as Gerard’s comedy magic clown show.

The show is loud, colorful, funny and fun filled with loads of laughter and audience participation. Both adults and kids enjoy the show, even though it is aimed at the children and age appropriate.

The show includes comedy, comedy magic, a comedy balloon routine where the birthday child will get to keep two twisted balloons as his / her special gift and then there is also the special guest appearance by Dolfie the living doll.

Ventriloquism goes hand in hand with magic and therefore Dolfie also appears in this show and again, Dolfie is who makes this show so unique and different from other magic shows. You can expect to be wowed every time.

Dolfie the living doll:

5 to 7-minute act
All ages

Dolfie is a very lively and witty little character and is a 6-year old wooden boy. Much like Pinocchio, he became alive and loves to entertain audiences with his wit and humor.

Because he is still so young, he only does a 5 to 7-minute act and is not allowed to perform without adult supervision. He is also not allowed to drive on his own, which is why he decided to perform with Gerard.

In Dolfie’s young career, he has entertained thousands of people throughout South Africa and performed as far as Namibia, Swaziland and Lesotho.

He is a guest star in any of Gerard’s shows.

Dolfie falls in love easily. It happens at almost every show when he sees a pretty girl in the audience.

Dolfie will enchant everyone in the audience with his presence on stage. The little boys all laugh at him but the little girls love him and they are hoping to get a change to hug him at his next performance.

Flopsy the Clown: (Only available in Gauteng)

40-minute show
Ages 4 to 10-years old.

Flopsy the Clown presents her comedy clowning magic show in a story telling way, introducing her Grandpa Ted and her special dog Bloxer.

In her show, Flopsy will make a special multiple balloon pet for the birthday child as well as for 3 or 4 birthday friend helpers chosen by the birthday child. At the end of the show, all the children help Flopsy to make a birthday present for the guest of honor.

Melrose the Clown (Only available in Gauteng)

40-minute show
Ages 4 Years and up

Melrose does a very interactive kids magic show using large colorful props. He encourages lots of audience participation throughout his show. A special fuss is made of the birthday child who also helps produce a large slab of chocolate as a birthday present.

Clumze Eddie The Clown (Only available in Gauteng)

30-minute show

The outstanding Clumze Eddie Entertains young and old alike with a seriously funny slapstick comedy magic routine. With witty humor Eddie amazes the audience with quick hands and an even quicker mouth.

The routine is perfect for young ages but also enjoyed by Mums and Dads.

With an amazing 3 in 1 package, the party animals are then spoiled with a balloon, created by the magical hands of Clumze Eddie. Awesome face paint follows this and is normally confused for masterpieces!

Trevor Duffy’s Corporate Entertainment

Duffy’s Close-up Magic
(Corporate Entertainment, not for Kids Birthday Parties)

This appearance by Trevor is ideal for 21st Parties, Weddings and Corporate Events. With this entertainment, Trevor strolls around between the guests and spend 7-12 minutes per group, entertaining them with very sophisticated, comedy magic.

Magic that happens right under their noses and even in their own hands! It is good, clean entertainment which ‘breaks the ice’ for people who may not know each other.

Trevor also has different theme characters: Pirate, Cowboy, Dr. Livingston and The Jester.

Viv the Magician (Only available in Gauteng)

It is most difficult to fool the eye when magic is taking place under one's nose as happens with close-up magic. Not only does Viv Kirk perform his magic with flawless perfection, right in front of his audience, but he performs his art with a light-hearted, entertaining presence.

Viv has been doing magic from a young age, winning his first competition at the age of 12. His professional career spans the last two decades and his clients have included Sun International, Samsung, 8ta and Hollard Insurance to mention but a few. Viv is comfortable and adaptable, able to perform magic at large corporate events like product launches, or more intimate settings like weddings, twenty-firsts, and bar mitzvahs.

Viv hones his skills almost daily, performing close-up "table hopping" regularly at local restaurants. For fifteen years Viv performed every Sunday at the award-winning Chuck Wagon Restaurant, until its closure in Nov 2012. He missed one Sunday in 15 years.
